Under sunny skies, and with a packed field, the Katronic team once again makes a strong showing in the annual Harz Company Run!
In what has become a firm fixture in the Region’s business calendar, the tenth edition of the Harz company run (Harzer Firmenlauf) on 19th June attracted, in perfect weather, more than 2,200 participants in a total of 558 teams to run the 2.1 km course in the Wernigerode Bürgerpark.
The mixed Katronic four-person relay team completed the course in a creditable 36:06 min, a Top 50 result out of the 247 teams competing in that category. Katronic competed for the tenth time, as always led by our CEO, Karsten Frahn, who completed his leg in 8:55 min. Top Katronic performer was our trainee Anteus Hallaschka, who sprinted round in an amazing 7:55 min!
The day was finished in fine style, with European Championship football showing in the big tent on site, an enthusiastic crowd cheering Germany on to a fine 2-0 victory over Hungary in their Group game.
