25 Years of Measuring Success
To celebrate our 25th anniversary, we, Katronic AG & Co. KG Germany, welcomed international guests, distributors and employees from the UK to a three-day celebration. We are very pleased that all our guests accepted our invitation and that we were able to celebrate together a great colourful party in the form of interesting encounters, conversations and suggestions for future business activities.
To kick off our celebrations, we started with a technical conference at the hotel "Gothisches Haus Wernigerode", where all participants were able to get an overview of the industrial sectors in which Katronics' clamp-on flow and heat meters are successfully used. Some sales partners presented niche applications that, on closer inspection, served targeted customer needs, thus stimulating interdisciplinary interest among the audience. An excellent dinner concluded a very inspiring first day.
The halfway point of our celebrations was entitled 'Activities by Choice'. The choices were: playing golf, a ride on a historic train combined with a walking tour or a sightseeing tour 'Through Six Centuries' in our colourful town in the Harz Mountains, Wernigerode. Some of the visitors decided to explore Wernigerode and its surroundings on their own. Taking a breather in the middle of our anniversary celebration was important for everyone to recharge their batteries for the following, extremely exhilarating last item on the programme that day - an exuberant party at the largest Oktoberfest in Saxony-Anhalt.
For all those who wanted to dive deeper into the applications and limits of our ultrasonic flow measurement technology, our practical workshop offered the ideal opportunity for a closer exchange and in-depth discussion with our technicians at the beginning of the third day of our celebration. Following this, a 'Football World Cup' with four assembled teams was on the agenda. The teams were the World Selection, England, Germany and 'Figo's friends'. During the tournament, various food trucks and bar carts catered for the physical well-being of our guests and footballers. Bouncy castles and a wide range of games kept our youngest offspring entertained. All players and visitors enjoyed the event; Germany won the tournament, but the result of that was rather secondary.
The evening of the third day of the programme and at the same time the closing of our 25th anniversary celebration took place at "Elmo Klub Wernigerode". There was dancing to electronic music and the last drinks were served before everyone said goodbye to each other and started their journey home.
We had a lot of fun celebrating with you! Greetings to Argentina, Australia, Canada, Colombia, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Greece, Hungary, Mexico, the Netherlands, Poland, South Africa, United Arab Emirates and the United States. We are very much looking forward to 30 years of Katronic.
